- Carl R. Rodgers, A way of being -
Great counsellor, super lovely and understanding. I felt listened too and Clair went out of her way to give extra support. I felt very supported
Clair was brilliant I wouldn’t change 1 thing about my time spent with Clair 10/10. I learnt more coping strategies, knowledge about why I think and do the things I do, How to manage my anxiety in a triggering situation and confidence to reach out for support.
Clair was instantly easy to talk to. She really listened, was caring and asked excellent follow up questions. She provided well thought out follow up advice/ questions that made me reflect and think through what I wanted out of the next session
From Clair's support I feel that I have a better understanding and knowledge of my own mental health especially concerning my anxiety and depression and how to use the techniques and other advice to manage these thoughts and feelings and make them work in my lifestyle.
I felt that my counsellor was able to give several different methods to help with my anxiety, depression and confidence issues and were able to relate to my own thoughts and experiences through their own knowledge and experiences.
Clair was a delight to work with, always making me comfortable and letting me rant if needed, her patience and compassion was fantastic. Clair never pushed any agenda in our meetings, making it so easy to open up and talk about any issues I'd had that day/week/month. With Clair's support I feel better equipped to move forward and more able to deal with my condition going forward. Talking to Clair was like talking to a friend or a close family member, she was always listening and offered insight into all points discussed, whether serious or trivial. Clair's support has got me from a terrible place just over a year ago to now feeling like a useful member of society again, more able to deal with day to day issues and back working again after a year break. The support of Clair has change my life around from thinking the world would be better without me to being back working and regaining confidence in myself again.
Clair always encouraged me to stay healthy, and to get outdoors, from within the 4 walls that hold me in a town, that I am not from, or want to live in.
I nearly always felt better after talking with Clair
because I believe this support was more genuine than any other so called help, or mental health associations I had seeked help from or been pointed, or appointed to over the last 28.5 years.
Clair helped by pushing me to challenge myself with situational tasks. I have gained techniques that are more discreet than my usual ones and less noticeable which has helped. Clair listens well and has a deep knowledge of anxiety relieving techniques that have helped me greatly. I would recommend very much she is always smiling and open to helping, I couldn't have asked for a better counsellor.
The support was fit around my needs and circumstances. I was taught many coping strategies. Even without a formal diagnosis, I was offered support tailored around my mental health and thought processes. It helped me a lot, especially when I needed someone to talk to. I think it was everything I could have wanted from that kind of support.
The support I received was like no other I had accessed before. Clair was able to help me to understand my thought processes and why I would do certain things. She understood me and because of this she was able to support me to put coping methods in place and to change my lifestyle to benefit me. I am doing things now that I never thought I would be able to.
I was apprehensive about accessing this support as I had tried therapy in the past and it had not worked for me, but now I can honestly say this has changed my life and I would recommend this support to anyone who was struggling like me.
Clair helped me with how to cope from day to day
and I have gained a knowledge and understanding.
